2023 Achievement
Working with Karen through the VAA mentoring programme, has given me the confidence to approach different audiences with ideas for paintings resulting in the Yorkshire Agricultural Society supporting me to commission a painting of The Supreme Champion Sheep in this year’s Great Yorkshire Show, resulting in great publicity and an interview on Radio stations.
Lesson learned from 2023
A valuable lesson I learned, is that I need to be proactive and imaginative in promoting myself and my art. I have to actively get myself out there and do the work. Not to dismiss different avenue, take opportunities, you never know where they may lead you.
2024 Goals
I have had a difficult end to the year with the loss of a parent, however I will continue to develop as an artist because they believed wholeheartedly in me as an artist. I aspire to paint different subjects and explore where that will take me…and of course to paint The Supreme Sheep!
