Beyond Borders: Exhibiting Internationally
Ready to take your artwork beyond borders?
Join artist and international exhibition organiser Tamara Andjus for a four-week online programme designed to help artists confidently exhibit across the UK, Europe and beyond. Whether you are taking your first steps towards exhibiting abroad or looking to expand an existing international practice, Beyond Borders offers practical guidance, expert insight and real-world experience to help you navigate the international art world.
From galleries and art fairs to shipping, customs and logistics, this course will demystify what it really takes to develop opportunities outside your home country. You don’t need gallery representation to exhibit internationally — with the right knowledge, planning and support, you can create your own opportunities, build genuine networks, and present your work with confidence on the world stage.
Any prior knowledge/experience needed to benefit from this session?
No previous international exhibition experience is required, though some note-taking is recommended. This programme is suitable for artists at every stage of their career.

Optional Exhibition Opportunity
Participants may have the opportunity to apply for a future exhibition in Zurich, with curatorial support and guidance from Tamara Andjus. Further details will be shared during the programme.
To take part in the online sessions you will need:
An up-to-date web browser (we recommend Chrome); microphone and headphones (a headset with a built-in microphone is ideal, though your device’s built-in mic will also work); a webcam; and a strong internet connection — we recommend a minimum of 2 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload, faster if possible. You can test your network speed at speedtest.net.
A Certificate of Completion:
As long as you attend a minimum of 80% if your classes, we will provide you with a certificate of attendance. You’ve put the hard work in, so we want to make sure you have something to show for it. Certificates are a great way to build your CV.

These four sessions offer a systematic approach to building an international exhibition practice, taking you from understanding the landscape through to logistics, relationship-building and your own long-term action plan.
Understanding the International Art Market

Tamara Andjus
Tamara Andjus is an artist and international exhibition organiser based in Zurich. Through her network of galleries, curators and media contacts, she has supported artists exhibiting across Switzerland and Europe. Her experience combines both the creative and practical sides of international exhibiting, helping artists navigate opportunities, logistics and professional relationships abroad.
