She has been a self-employed artist for ten years- taking the leap in 2012. Amy has now joined the Visual Artist Association as an Artist Mentor alongside Karen van Hoey Smith.

Piers Phillips has always had an eye for detail. Originally studying Interior Architecture and Design at Nottingham Trent University, he moved to London to find work with some of the bigger interior design practices in the city. Though he enjoyed his ten years in interiors, he found himself coming back to art. Speaking to the pioneer behind the pieces, we were reminded that being based in Grimsby doesn’t need to be a barrier to success.
