2023 Achievement
2023 was relocating my family and studio back to London, without losing anyone’s sanity. Settling down everyone and my art practice, after four intercontinental relocations and a few good family crises made me a master at rebuilding life all over again from scratch, with art as the best form of therapy. This year I joined VAA, attended my first art fairs, found great new artist friends and art collectors, signed agreements with Artiq agency, DegreeaArt in London, and a brand licensing agency in the USA, and finally, I have now a studio immersed in nature, not immense, but with wonderful natural light.
Lesson learned from 2023
The most valuable lesson was to be caring and patient with myself too.
Being an artist and mother of young children is an art of time management, self-love, and perseverance.
2024 Goals
I’m aiming to collaborate with my art curators and agents on projects in hospitality and larger-scale commissions while adding freelancing jobs as an Illustrator and art director. I’d love also to paint my first mural. The driving force behind this is pure hunger. I’m not young. I’m a late bloomer, so I feel a sense of urgency that I’ve never felt before. I know death, grief, and chronic pain very well. I consider myself fortunate, after having taken care of everyone else, and survived a delicate neurosurgery, now it’s my time to shine.
