Art, Collaboration, and Connection: The Journey of Adeche Atelier

Discover how creative duo Adwoa Botchey and Solomon Adebiyi built Adeche Atelier into a practice that blends painting, storytelling, and digital content creation. In this talk, they’ll share the realities of working as a collaborative couple, the lessons learned from partnering with major institutions like the National Gallery and BBC Arts, and how they’ve harnessed social media to amplify their voice. Central to their practice is a commitment to making art accessible and engaging for diverse audiences, inviting people from all backgrounds into conversations about culture, heritage, and creativity. Offering practical advice alongside personal reflections, Adwoa and Solomon will explore what it means to create authentically, build visibility, and ensure that art resonates widely in today’s cultural landscape.

The session will be followed by VAA Artists Networking, a relaxed gathering led by the VAA team. Designed for artists at all stages of their careers, this is a great opportunity to expand your circle, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections within the creative community.
