This session will equip you with the essential tools to navigate the exhibition world with confidence, from finding opportunities and planning DIY setups to creating displays that attract attention.
Workshop Speaker: Karen van Hoey Smith
Karen is an experienced artist mentor, independent art broker, and curator. With a degree in Fine Arts Valuation and over two decades in the arts and antiques world, Karen has worked as the UK’s youngest female auctioneer, art consultant, gallery manager, and senior partner at an art publishing house.
She has brokered sales of major artists including Banksy, Picasso, and Bomberg, and regularly advises artists on how to exhibit and sell their work – from commercial galleries to public institutions.
