In the beginning, she struggled to move beyond the limited palette taught at the academy, and learning the ABC of colour became her gateway to using it with purpose and confidence.

In this workshop, Karin will share her personal approach to colour, guiding you through:

• Creating your own colour wheel to unlock the relationships between colours.
• Understanding values and how they influence depth, light, and contrast in portraits.
• Exploring the psychology of colour and its impact on your artistic choices.
• An introduction to her Colour Course, where she teaches how to harness colour deliberately to paint in classical or bold styles—or combine the two.
