90 Minute Intensive Online Course: Instagram for Artists

Building a strong presence on Instagram can feel confusing and time consuming, especially when effort does not always translate into clear results. This practical bootcamp is designed to help artists understand how the platform works today and how to use it strategically to support visibility, professional positioning and long term career growth.

Guided by insights gathered directly from artists, the session focuses on clear and realistic approaches to content, audience development and communication. You will learn how to create sustainable systems that fit alongside studio practice, strengthen how you present your work online, and move beyond posting without direction.

Whether you feel unsure about the algorithm, struggle with reels or captions, or want to attract collectors, curators and opportunities, this session will provide structured guidance you can apply immediately.

What Artists Will Learn

  • How Instagram currently functions and what drives reach, visibility and engagement
  • Creating a clear content strategy that reduces overwhelm and supports consistency
  • Simple approaches to reels and video content that feel manageable and authentic
  • Writing captions that communicate your work professionally without sounding overly commercial
  • How to talk about pricing and selling in a natural and confident way
  • Growing an audience that aligns with collectors, curators and career opportunities
  • Time saving workflows and practical systems for sustainable posting
  • Setting realistic goals and measuring progress without chasing vanity metrics

Who Is This For

  • Artists who are already using Instagram but feel unclear about strategy or results
  • Emerging and mid career artists looking to build a more professional online presence
  • Creatives who want to attract galleries, collectors or collaborations through their digital presence
  • Artists who feel overwhelmed by constant platform changes and want clear structure
  • Introverted or time limited artists seeking practical systems that fit around studio practice

The duo met while studying architecture at the Manchester School of Architecture, where their shared interest in storytelling and visual culture evolved into an ongoing creative partnership. Their work today spans painting, podcasting and digital content, including their podcast Afro Mythos, which explores African deities, histories and spiritual traditions.
