The memory of Eihikosan shrine in Kyushu became an obsession during Covid-19 pandemic lockdown and curfew: the only images which could bring healing and endurance were the instinctive representations of the Virtues. Gradually, a series of powerful and soothing paintings emerged from the canvases.
