I am an artist and professional Kenya safari guide and as a friend of the chief’s son, I had privileged access to a Samburu wedding. I used the ipad rather than a camera so I could share the images I took immediately with the subject. Pointing a camera in this situation would have been considered rude. The ipad images broke the ice. The images were the starting point for these ‘digital paintings’.
