Gallery Room 1 – Under £500
My Passion is to create pieces of artwork that bring a sensory experience to the viewer. I am an artist, living in Oxfordshire, working from my Rosemary Studio situated in my garden, a perfect location to capture the wonder of some amazing nature studies. I returned to full time art 10 years ago. The impressionists, in particular Claude Monet and also Turner, have influenced me. I am inspired by nature, in particular land and seascapes, capturing the mood, light and atmosphere, I work in oil and often incorporate pastel into some of my work to give a textured dimension to the finished piece. Capturing moments from walks by the coast and countryside, catching the light on a wave or the glimmer of sunlight through the trees. I will make quick sketches and take photos, which I will then transfer on to board in my studio.

Dark Sky at Night – Dingle | £500 | 55 x45 cm framed | Oil on board
This was inspired by my visits to the West Coast of Ireland, where you can get amazing views of what appears to be a dust between the stars. Totally fascinated by this I was determined to capture this almost surreal image.
