Artist and Designer, Kira Phoenix K’inan, brings together fine art and craft through works on paper, inimitable glass sculptures, ephemeral installations and multi-exposure photography, which are sustainably and ethically produced in her studio in London. Today her collections are known for their rich colour palette, dynamic lines that intertwist into one another and works that are in constant visual flux.

Constructure in Opal Green | £1275 | 32 x 32 x 2 cm | glass

Constructure in Opal Green takes individually carved Relief Glass Drawings and fuses these layers of two different tones of green opal glass in the kiln. This process creates a multi-layered mesh that is stronger than any individual layer alone. The fusing process also gives the pieces an undulating texture. The two shades of green opal glass echo the vibrant coral reefs that I would see when snorkelling as a child. As this work has an integrated wire on the back it is easy to display on any wall. The colour is fresh and would sit perfectly in a living room, hallway, or kitchen.
