Rocky Home | £500 | 34 x 34 cm | Embroidery on paper/painted in water colour, ink, gold and bronze medium/Framed, with archival mat protection, no glass
Work based on an ongoing series of rockpools. The inspiration is from looking down on natural surfaces that nature has construed from cause and effect ( for example, the battering of the tidal waves, erosion, deposits of shells, and a temporary home for small marine creatures). Rocky can be interpreted in different contexts, in the sense of its composition and the other, the unstable area deemed as a home.
