TIPS FOR GETTING GALLERY READY
Here’s a taste of what you’ll learn – and discuss in greater depth:
- Align Your Work: Not every gallery is the right gallery. Matching your art with the right space can make all the difference.
- Gallery Homework Pays Off: The most successful artists don’t just create, they investigate. Research, visit, and observe before you apply.
- Portfolio Power: Your portfolio should not just show your art, but also tell your story and hint at your potential.
- Professionalism Counts: A reputation for reliability and good communication is as valuable as a signature style.
- Networking Opens Doors: Opportunities often come from conversations, not cold emails.
