3) Access Funding For Your Creative Practice

Art Café; Public Fundraising

Join us to jumpstart your year with our Introduction to Fundraising, with fundraising expert, David Burgess of Apollo Fundraising. We will discuss artist fundraising to develop your creative practice. This will include a look at applying to trusts, arts council, alongside more commercial platforms such as GoFundMe and KickStarter. David has years of experience providing consultancy, training and support to help arts and culture organisations achieve their fundraising goals.

As part of “New Year, New You” The VAA is hosting several training sessions to help you Plan, Aim and Achieve your goals.

Training Session 1 (January 19th at 3pm)  Top tips from David Burgess, Director of Apollo Fundraising, who will guide you through the world of crowdfunding.

To begin a new project or business you need a sturdy financial base, crowdfunding provides you with the opportunity to raise funds from social networks and communities who are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. David will advise you on whether crowdfunding is right for you, guidance on getting started, and how to harness the power of crowdfunding to help you reach ambitious heights. Book your ticket here.

Training Session 2 (January 26th at 1:30pm) David Burgess will continue to provide insight into gaining funding. He will be discussing how to write a successful application and where to find funding for your art projects. Where to apply? What to say? How to succeed. Top tips for completing successful applications. Increase confidence and start the new year with prosperity.

Training Session 3 (February 12th at 11:00am) Join us with Fine Artist and Founder of Creative Minds Consultancy Frances Ackland-Snow where you will learn top tips to create a positive mindset and how to find your creative flow.

6) The VAA International Online Spring Exhibition

Time To Sell!

The VAA International Online Art Exhibition 2021 is open to all premium members of The Visual Artists Association. The event is an ambitious exhibition expanding across four virtual gallery spaces, featuring the work of over 2000 talented Artists. All works are available to purchase direct from the Artist; buyers can simply click on the artwork for details. The event is an opportunity for emerging artists to be discovered internationally by buyers, gallery representatives, publishers and art agents.
